Whether you're new to the Nevada public-sector bargaining process or seeking a strategic refresher, this session breaks down the essential “nuts and bolts” of negotiating under NRS 288. Participants will gain practical guidance on navigating statutory requirements, preparing for negotiations, managing proposals, and avoiding common pitfalls that can derail progress.
Through clear examples and actionable insights, this program will highlight best practices for effective, compliant, and productive bargaining in Nevada. Attendees will walk away with a stronger understanding of their rights and responsibilities under the law—and with the tools needed to approach the table with confidence and clarity.

Leading With Yes is an interactive session designed to strengthen leaders’ ability to communicate with empathy, emotional intelligence and positive intent. Participants explore how adopting a “yes-first” mindset - one that emphasizes openness, responsible trust and constructive dialogue - can improve workplace culture and relationships without sacrificing accountability.
